Coming in 2017…

Cutting-edge comedy, a Literary Lunch, Guitar Masterclass with an international star, a Workshop for budding young graphic artists, Mediaeval warriors fighting it out in the town centre.

And that’s only the first weekend.

In the course of a packed festival, we are looking forward to new opportunities and welcoming fresh new talent.  We’ll be celebrating 40 successful years of the Wetherby Arts Festival, started in 1977.

Kieran Hodgson will be reprising his hit comedy show “Maestro” one more time, exclusively for the Festival.

Guest artist and international guitar soloist, Craig Ogden, performs for us in concert as well as sharing his skills in a small group – early booking recommended there.

International performers, the nationally renowned St Aidan’s Swing Band will be returning for another great performance.  As will the superb Spirit of Harmony male voice choir.

Watch out too for our weeknight entertainment in the Crypt, dance the night away at our ceilidh, and put on your blue suede shoes to celebrate the life and works of The King.

With an Art Show, two comedy evenings, upwards of 6 concerts – lunchtime and evening, films, talks in the library, free guided walks and street events, our new expanded festival programme has something for everyone and every pocket.

Visit us between now and October for regular updates, blogs, fringe events and more.

Bring us your memories of previous festivals, volunteer or why not support your local community.  Or why not become a member and enjoy priority booking and our member-only pre-festival get-togethers.
