  • 6pm, Church Street Field, Wetherby

    Sarah-Louise Ince, James Kinsella and Helen Whittington, with Jane Bishop on the piano, bring their unique blend of song, humour and repartee to Wetherby. Enjoy the performance while indulging in fish and chips from award-winning Wetherby Whaler. Coffee included in the price. Licensed bar available.

  • Dance Performance & Workshop

    11 - 12pm, Church Street Field,

    Children 3-11yrs in Wetherby join professional dancers to perform a new dance work. Followed by an optional 30min outdoor workshop for all ages to take part in an inspiring contemporary dance session. Leeds Inspired Project, funded by Leeds City Council with support from Wetherby Lions and Renton & Parr. Project delivered by Katy Hewison (Improplay Project) with Edward Jeffreys and Rachel Sullivan.

    Tales from the Great Wood

    3 - 5pm, Church Street Field

    Listen! Can you hear the whispering in the trees? The Great Wood is full of stories. Join Badapple actors Richard Kay and Danny Mellor, and a host of puppets, for their interactive storytelling eco-adventure for ages 5 – 95. Perfect for kids and grandparents to enjoy getting back together this summer.

    The LSO Oboe Trio and the Midnight Quintet

    7.30 - 9:30pm, St. James’ Church

    Featuring Leeds Symphony Orchestra oboes: Camilla Bisengaliev, Helen Nakhwal and Catherine Hinks, and the Midnight Quintet: Emma Cordell (flute), Helen Nakhwal (oboe), Caroline Claughton (clarinet), David Claughton (horn) and Aliki Georgiou (bassoon). They will play a mix of classical and popular repertoire from all eras, from Tchaikovsky to Madonna.

    Felt Art from Kazakhstan

    All day, Church Street Field

    A fascinating display from a felt making tradition that goes back all the way to the Nomadic culture of the Great Steppe of Central Asia. This will be a static display available to be seen by all on the Saturday free of charge.

  • Wetherby Showcase

    2pm, Church Street Field

    Singer songwriters Elisha Lang, 'the Big Grey Man' and Maggie Wakeling headline this stunning collection of talent from the local community, performing their original music and song covers. Bring your picnic rugs and refreshments for an afternoon of music.

    Starring Julian Finnigan and Dominic Goodwin in a re-enactment of one of the most baffling unrecorded cases - the case of the Prime Minister, the floozie and the Lummock Rock lighthouse.

  • Rule the World - Take That Tribute

    7.30 - 11pm, The Engine Shed

    As Take That celebrates 30 years dominating the charts, Rule the World presents an exciting high-energy production dedicated to the UK’s number one boy band. This spectacular tribute comes complete with a three-piece line-up and supporting dancers, magnificent lighting, fast costume changes and exceptional live vocals. The result is an incredibly accurate portrayal of a Take That concert. Licensed bar.
